On this trip we specifically target wild browns deep in the heart of Penns Creek. We travel back into the mountains to secluded sections of creek to find large numbers of wild browns with the opportunity to hook up into some huge ones while we’re at it! On this trip you will experience breathtaking scenery, PA wildlife, and some of the best wild trout fishing anywhere in the country. This trip is perfect for disconnecting from the real world and enjoying nature while still catching beautiful wild browns.
Come catch big wild browns on the world class waters of Penns Creek with us! A recent study from the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission revealed that there are more than 2,500 wild browns per square mile on Penns Creek! Penn's Creek is Pennsylvania's longest limestone stream, starting its course north of Spring Mills to Selinsgrove, where it is tributary to the Susquehanna. The most sought after section of the stream is from Coburn, where Elk Creek provides a significant dose of cold water, to Cherry Run near Weikert. This amazing eleven mile portion is under special regulation, with trophy trout rules applying in the upper seven miles and catch-and-release in the lower 3.9 miles.
